Cu începere de la ora 10, sub genericul “Primăvara poeţilor”, aici vor avea loc recitări din lirica semnată de Adriana Weimer, Daniela Radu, Maria Rogobete, Ionel Panait, Ion Oprişor, Nicolae Silade, Remus Valeriu Giorgioni şi alţii. Şi, pentru că muzica se îmbină perfect cu poezia, la centrul de pe strada Odeanu va cânta formaţia Corina Band, formată din Corina Ignea, Daniela Marcu, Dan Timaru şi Nelu Căprariu. Organizatorii manifestării sunt Biblioteca Municipală Lugoj şi Complexul “Sf. Nicolae”.

“Primăvara Poeţilor” este o manifestare tradiţională a poeţilor lugojeni, care în acest an a coincis cu Ziua Internaţională a Poeziei, celebrată pe plan mondial sub egida UNESCO, din anul 1999.  Ziua Internaţională a Poeziei este o recunoaştere la adresa acestui gen literar, care îmbogăţeşte permanent cultura şi spiritualitatea ce aduc împreună oameni de pe toate meridianele globului.
